The Cabinet members will oversee localities' implementation of growth scenarios set by the Government.
They are tasked with addressing challenges within their authority or proposing solutions to higher authorities to resolve difficulties, boost production and business activities, create jobs and livelihoods for citizens, accelerate public investment disbursement, facilitate import-export, develop infrastructure, promote social housing projects, support initiatives to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing, and carry out national target programs.
According to the assignment, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh works with Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Can Tho City.
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh works with Hai Phong City and Quang Ninh Province.
Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha works with Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Long An provinces.
Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long works with Kien Giang and Hau Giang provinces.
Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc works with Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, and Khanh Hoa provinces.
