Deputy Prime Minister Bui replaces his predecessor Tran Luu Quang who has been promoted to the new role as Chairman of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission.
The Steering Committee is responsible for putting foward to the Prime Minister orientations and policies to lure and use ODA and preferential loans in an effective manner.
It will also help the Prime Minister coordinate relevant authorities and localities in preparing and carrying out programs and projects using ODA or preferential loans.
Moreover, it is assigned to collect feedbacks from Vietnamese agencies and sponsors, direct relevant agencies to complete management regulation, and streamline administrative procedures in ODA management and use to boost disbursement of the capital source./.
