Viet Nam's GDP growth is estimated at 7.09 percent in 2024, the General Statistics Office (GSO) reported Monday.

The GDP growth accelerated to 7.55 percent in the fourth quarter compared to 5.98 percent, 7.25 percent, and 7.43 percent in the first three quarters, said the GSO.
This year's GDP growth also beats previous projections of the Asian Development Bank (6.4 percent), the World Bank (6.1 percent), and the International Monetary Fund (6.1 percent)
Industry and construction sector enjoyed robust growth of 8.24 percent, contributing 45.17 percentage points to GDP growth.
