Vietnamese trade turnover to Singapore surges in first 7 months
Two-way trade turnover between Viet Nam and Singapore reached SGD18.32 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.02 percent, according to the Viet Nam Trade Office in Singapore.

In July alone, total trade volume between the two countries reached rose by 20.91 percent to SGD3.1 billion.
Specifically, Viet Nam’s exports to Singapore soared by 36.25 percent to SGD763.9 million and import turnover increased by 16.7 percent to SGD2.38 billion.
Viet Nam’s three main export commodity groups to Singapore experienced an upward trajectory, including machinery, equipment, mobile phones, components, and spare parts of all kinds, up 22.86 percent; reactors, boilers, machine tools, and equipment and spare parts of these machines, up 68.21 percent; and glass and glass products, up 94.61 percent.
Viet Nam is currently Singapore's ninth largest export market with a turnover of more than SGD 13.61 billion, up 3.93 percent./.
