Minister Ho Duc Phoc

A delegation from the Finance Ministry led by Minister Ho Duc Phoc on March 11 had a working session with Japanese Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki and representatives from Japanese partners to promote bilateral financial cooperation.

On September 28, at the 26th session of the National Assembly's Standing Committee (NA Standing Committee), Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc presented a draft NA resolution on the application of additional corporate income tax (CIT), under regulations against the erosion of the global tax base.

On the morning of August 18, the 4th meeting of the Prime Minister's Working Group on stabilizing the stock market and corporate bond market took place at the Ministry of Finance (MoF). According to Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc - Head of the Working Group, the MoF continues to strengthen inspection and urge businesses to prioritize debt repayment to investors.

The Ministry of Finance (MoF) held a briefing on the afternoon of August 7 and implemented the tasks of August 2023. Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc chaired the meeting. Budget revenue has ensured budget progress, but it is predicted that there will be a range of difficulties from now until the end of the year. Therefore, the Minister has proposed that the entire sector focus on implementing solutions and strive to complete the assigned State budget revenue estimates.

On the morning of July 13, Minister Ho Duc Phoc demonstrated at a conference to review the work of the first six months of 2023 and deploy the year-end tasks that the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has made great efforts to manage in the difficult context to maintain the balance of State budget revenues and expenditures while still creating conditions for businesses to develop.

At the National Assembly on the afternoon of May 29, Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc stated that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Government has managed fiscal policy fiercely, flexibly, and effectively.
