A total of 76,179 enterprises resumed operations in Vietnam in 2024, according to the Agency for Business Registration under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
As many as 116,300 enterprises registered for establishment, up 3.1% year on year, with combined registered capital of 1,086.8 trillion VND, down 14.6% year on year, in the first nine months of 2023, the General Statistics Office (GSO) reported on September 29.
As many as 21,100 new enterprises were established in Hanoi in the first eight months of 2023, with total registered capital of 208.8 trillion VND (nearly 8.65 billion USD).
Vietnam saw 8,841 new enterprises registering a combined capital of 65.6 trillion VND (2.76 billion USD) and nearly 51,100 labourers in February, according to the General Statistics Office.
