Vietnam to set new record in rice exports in 2024
Despite challenges in the global rice market, Vietnam's is still on a right track to a new export volume record of over 8 million tonnes in 2024, surpassing last year’s result, according to insiders.
Vietnam stands a chance of dominating global rice market
In 2023, Vietnam recorded an all-time high of 4.5 billion USD from exporting 8 million tonnes of rice. It is said that Vietnam still has a lot of potential to increase its rice output and export revenue due to rising global demand, which offers a great opportunity for Vietnamese rice to dominate the world market in terms of supply, quality and pricing.
