Fresh lychees from Luc Ngan district, the northern province of Bac Giang, continue to be sold at the supermarket chain of Gourmet Market and shopping malls belonging to Thailand’s The Mall Group this year.

Viet Nam has completed cross-border payment connections via QR codes with Thailand, Cambodia, and is connecting with Laos, noted Governor of the State Bank of Viet Nam Nguyen Thi Hong.

Vietnamese Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son and Thai Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara co-chaired the 5th Meeting of the Viet Nam - Thailand Joint Commission for Bilateral Cooperation (JCBC) in Bangkok on April 11.

For the period of 2022-2027, Thailand and Vietnam have signed many memorandums of understanding on economic cooperation, and the two sides are also committed to increasing cross-border trade activities by land, sea and air ways; and are coordinating with the Thai Business Association (ThaiCham) to promote the increase of bilateral trade turnover to USD25 billion by 2025.
